Solution

The correct option is A stigma
The stigma is the terminal part of pistil which acts as the landing platform for pollen grains. It determines the compatible nature of pollen grains. It allows the germination of compatible pollen grains and thus a pollen tube is formed.

The stigma is followed by a long slender style. The pollen tube carrying the male gametes passes along the style to reach the basal bulged part of the pistil called ovary. From ovary the pollen tube enters the ovule and ultimately enters the synergid of embryo sac and releases the male gametes.
