Somatic nervous system
The PNS is divided into two divisions –
Somatic neural system and the Autonomic neural system. The somatic nervous system relays impulses from the CNS to skeletal muscles and controls movement. The Autonomic nervous system is subdivided into Sympathetic and Parasympathetic nervous system and control the involuntary functions of our body, they do not have any role in voluntary movement or locomotion.
