Let x1 and x2 are the horizontal distance travelled by particle A and B repectively in time t
So, x1=u3.cos30×t=ut2........(i)
And, x2=u.cos60×t=ut2.........(ii)
On (i)+(ii) we have,
x1+x2=ut
Or, x=utt=xu
