Step 1: To find the Difference in marks

Difference of marks of $1^{\mathrm{st}}$Term and $2^{\mathrm{nd}}$ Term

$$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{English}=70–67=3 \\ \mathrm{Hindi}=65–72=-7 \\ \mathrm{Maths}=95–88=7 \\ \mathrm{Science}=85–81=4 \\ \mathrm{S}.\mathrm{Science}=75–73=2 \end{gathered}$$

Step 2: i) Which subject, have the child improved his performance the most

From the double graph drawn we get to know that,

There was a maximum marks increase in the Maths subject. So, the child has improved his performance in Maths.

Step 3: ii) Compute In which subject is the improvement the least

From the double graph drawn we get to know that, The improvement was the least in S. Science.

Step 4: iii) Compute the performance gone down in any subject

From the double graph drawn we get to know that, the performance in Hindi has gone down.

Hence,

(i) The child has improved his performance in Maths.

(ii) The improvement was the least in S. Science.

(iii) The performance in Hindi has gone down.
