The perimeter of a parallelogram is $60cm$ and the ratio of its adjacent sides is $3:2$. If the altitude corresponding to larger side of the parallelogram is $5cm$. Find the area of the parallelogram and the altitude corresponding to the smaller side.

let larger side is $3x$

then another side is $2x$

thus perimeter of a parallelogram is $10x=60$

thus $x=6cm$

Then one side is $=6\times 3=18$

And other is $=2\times 6=12$

So base$=18cm$

area of parallelogram is base $\times$ height

area$=18\times 5=90c{m}^2$

Altitude corresponding to smaller side

$90=12\times h$

$h=7.5cm$
