Perimeter of square =4a
160=4a
a=1604
a=40 m
Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
160=2(l+b)
l+b=80.....(i)
As per question
Area of square Area of rectangle =100
a2lb=100
402lb=100
lb=1600100
lb=1500......(ii)
From (i) and (ii)
1500b+b=80
1500+b2=80b
b280b+1500=0
b250b30b+1500=0
b(b50)30(b50)=0
(b50)(b30)=0
b=50,30
If b=50m then l+50=80l=30 m
If b=30m then l+30=80l=50 m
As length of the rectangle is more than breadth so l=50 m and b=30 m
