Given, length is twice the breadth and perimeter is 48 units

Let the breadth =xunits. So length will be 2x

2 (length + breadth) =Perimeter

2×2x+x=482×3x=486x=48x=486

Dividing the numerator and denominator by common factor6

x=48÷66÷681
