The correct option is C 1272m2
Given:
The perimeter of the swimming pool = 154 m.
Let the breadth of the swimming pool be x m.
The length of the swimming pool = (5 + 2x) m.
Perimeter of swimming pool = 2(length+breadth)
154=2{(x)+(2x+5)}154=2(3x+5)154=(6x+10)6x=144x=24m.
Hence, the breadth of the swimming pool is 24 m.
The length of the swimming pool =2x+5=2×24+5=53 m.

The area of the swimming pool = length × breadth
= 24×53=1272m2
