Perimeter of swimming pool = 64m (Given)

We know that,
Perimeter = 2(length + breadth). Since length and breadth are given to be in the ratio 11:5, we can assume them to be 11x and 5x respectively.

i.e. length = 11x and breadth = 5x

Substituting these in the formula of perimeter, we get

64 = 2(11x + 5x)

32x = 64

x = 2

Length of the swimming pool
=11x=11×2=22m
