Given the perimeter of the right-angle triangle is 60 m and the hypotenuse is 26 cm

Let the base and height of the right-angle triangle is a and b cm

Then a2+b2=(26)2

a+b+a2+b2=60a+b+26=60a+b=6026a+b=34

(a+b)2=(34)2a2+b2+2ab=11562ab=1156(26)2=1156676=480ab=240

Then area of right angle triangle = 12ab=12×240=120cm2
