Solution

The correct option is B

8, 6, 10

Let the shorter leg be 2x.
The longer leg be x21
And the hypotenuse be x2+1
According to given condition.
x2+1+x21+2x=242x2+2x=24x2+x12=0....(i)
Also,
3(x21)2(2x)=x2+1+23x234x=x2+32x24x6=0x22x3=0.....(ii)
Subtracting (ii) from (i), we have
x2+x12x2+2x+3=03x=9x=3
the shorter leg = 2×3=6cm
The longer leg =(3)21=8cm
And the hypotenuse =(3)2+1=10cm
