perimeter of square $=4a$

$\therefore 4a=56$

$a=14m$

Area of square$=(14m{)}^2=196$ sq.m

Area of rectangle$=$Area of square$-8$

$=196-8=188$ sq.m

Let the length of rectangle be ${}^{\prime }{l}^{\prime }$

breadth be ${}^{\prime }{b}^{\prime }$

Given $l=16$m

Area of rectangle$=lb=188$

$\Rightarrow 16b=188$

$b=\frac{188}{16}$

$b=\frac{47}{4}$m
