Solution

Answer:

As we know the formula for perimeter of a triangle is addition of three sides.

So:

2x + (2x + 3) + (2x + 5) = 56

2x + 2x + 2x + 3 + 5 = 56

6x + 8 = 56

6x = 56 - 8 = 48

x = 48/6 = 8.

Since x = 8, then the sides of the triangle are 2x = 2 * 8 = 16, (2x + 3) = (2 * 8 + 3) = 19 and (2x + 5) = (2 * 8 + 5) = 21.

Ans: 16, 19 and 21.
