The perimeter of a wheel of a size of a car is 70 cm. How much distance will it cover in 50 revelution.

Open in App
Solution

Diameter = 70 cm
radius = 35 cm

so,
distance in one revolution
= circumference of tyre
= 2πr
= 2×(22/7)×35
= 2×22×5
= 220 cm

now,
distance in 50 revolutions = 220×50 = 11000 cm = 11 m
