The correct option is C 8.3 cm
The area of an equilateral triangle = 3 × side
24.9 = 3 × side
Thus, side of the equilateral triangle can be obtained dividing 24.9 by 3. $24.9 \div 3 = \frac{249}{10} \div 3 = \frac{249}{10} \times \frac{1}{3} = \frac{83}{10} = 8.3$
Hence, the side is 8.3 cm long.
