Perimeter of one face of the cube = 24 cm
We know that faces of a cube are square.
Thus, we have:
Perimeter of one face of the cube = 4 × Side of the cube
$\Rightarrow$ 24 = 4 × Side of the cube
$\Rightarrow$ Side of the cube = 6 cm

(i) Total area of the six faces of the cube = 6 × (Side)²
= 6 × (6)²
= 6 × 36
= 216 cm²

(ii) Volume of the cube = (Side)³
= (6)³
= 216 cm³
