Consider, PQRS is a rectangle and triangle PSR is a right angled triangle .

In right angled triangle PSR, using Pythagoras theorem ,

i.e., square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides.

PR2=PS2+PR2612=PS2+6023721=PS2+3600PS2=3721-3600PS2=121PS=121PS=11cm

Step 2: Find the perimeter of the rectangle.

Perimeter of rectangle PQRS =2(length×breadth)
