We know if $x$ fraction of total items is shown on a pie chart, angle θ = $x\times$360^o

⇒​ $x$ = $\frac{\theta }{{360}^{\circ }}$ ; where $x$ =$\frac{Numberofparticularitemssold}{Totalnumberofitemssold}$

∴​ Number of particular items sold = $\frac{\theta }{{360}^{\circ }}\times$​1080

Pens =$\frac{{75}^{\circ }}{{360}^{\circ }}\times$ 1080 = 225

Notebooks =$\frac{{100}^{\circ }}{{360}^{\circ }}\times$ 1080 = 300​
