Total distance to be covered by priates = 2000 miles.
Number of days remaining = 50.
The pirates are travelling same distance everyday.
∴ Distance travelled equally will be = 2000÷50 miles.

So, the pirates will travel 40 miles everyday to cover the entire distance in the given time.
