Let 0.11 be a decimal number having same digits at tenths and hundredths place.
Now, the place value of 1 at tenths place =110     
The place value of 1 at hundredths place =1100     
 1100=110×110
The place value of 1 at hundredths place is 110 times of 1 at tenths place.

So, the given statement is true, as the place value of any digit at the hundredths place is 110 times the same digit at the tenths place.
