Area of compression zone = Area of tension zone
1500+10x=(200x)×10
x=25 mm

Total area of the section,
A=150×10+10×200=3500 mm2

=A2=35002=1750 mm2

Plastic modulus; zp=A2(¯y1+¯y2)
where,
¯y1=150×10×30+10×25×12.51750=27.5 mm
¯y2=1752=87.5 mm

zp=A2(¯y1+¯y2)
=1750(27.5+87.5)=201250 mm3
=201.25 cm3
