(i) Reflection gives the point (1, 4)
(ii) Translation along +ve X-axis by 2 units gives the point (3, 4)(5,θ) whereθ=tan-1(4/3)
(iii) Rotation in the anti-clock wise sense by π/4 gives the point
(5,θ+π4)={5cos(θ+π4),5sin(θ+π4)}
={52(cosθsinθ),52(cosθ+sinθ)}
={52(3545),52(35+45)}
=(12,72)
