Considering the point $(p,q)$, its reflection about $x$ axis will give $(p,-q)$.

Now the reflection of the point $(p,-q)$ about $y-axis$ will be $(-p,-q)$....(i)

Now we get $(-p,-q)$ if we take the reflection of the point $(p,q)$ about origin $(0,0)$.

Hence considering the above reflections, the combined effect is the same as the reflection of Point P about the origin.
