Biodegradable pollutants- Those pollutants that can be broken down into simple, non-poisonous, harmless products over time by microorganisms known as decomposers are called biodegradable pollutants. Examples of biodegradable materials are sewage, dead animals and plants, etc.
Non- biodegradable pollutants- Those pollutants that cannot be broken down into simple, non-poisonous, harmless products over time by microorganisms known as decomposers are called non-biodegradable pollutants. Examples of non-biodegradable materials are plastic, rubber, metals, and other materials.
