Find the population of the childrenPopulation of a city is 4,90,50,102.

Population of men =1,90,40,102

Population of women = 1,00,37,893

Number of children = Total population - (Population of men + Population of women)

=4,90,50,102-(1,90,40,102+1,00,37,893)=4,90,50,102-2,90,77,995=1,99,72,107

Hence, the population of children is 1,99,72,107

Write in words

1,99,72,107 in international number system is :-

19,972,107-Ninteenmillionninehundredseventytwothousandonehundredandseven.

Step 3:

Find place value of both 7's in 19,972,107

Place value of 7 is 70,000&7

Step 4:

Find the product

Product is 70,000×7

=49,000

Hence, the product is 49,000
