The population of a town 3 years ago was 25000.If the population in these three years has increased at the rate of 10%,15% and 8% respectively,find the present population.

Population 3 years ago = 25000
Population increased at the rate of 10%, 15%, 8%
Now, after an increase in 10% of population,
New population = 25000 + 10% of 25000 = 25000+10100×25000=27500
After an increase in 15% of the population,
New population= 27500 + 15% of 27500 = 27500+15100×27500=31625
After an increase in 8% of the population,
New population = 31625 + 8% of 31625 = 31625+8100×31625=34155
Hence, the present population is 34155
