Number of females $= 2160$
Number of males $=$ Total population of village - number of females
$= 4800 - 2160 = 2640$
ratio of number males to that of females $= 2640 : 2160$
Lowest form of ratio can be obtained by Dividing both terms by their HCF $240$
$\frac{2640}{2160} = \frac{\frac{2640}{80}}{\frac{2160}{80}} = \frac{11}{9}$
Hence, ratio of number males to that of females is $11 : 9$
