Suppose the number of males in the village before increases was x.
Then, the number of females =(9800x)
Given, (x+8% of x)+(9800x)+5% of (9800x)=10458
1.08x+1.05×(9800x)=10458
1.08x+1.05×98001.05x=10458
0.03x=1045810290=168
x=168×1003=5600
