$x=a+b{t}^2$

or . $x=8.5+2.5t^2$

we know that

$v=\frac{dx}{dt}$

$v=8.5+5t$

so at t=1

$v=8.5+5$

$v=13.5\frac{m}{s}$

at t=2 sec

$v=8.5+10$

$v=18.5\frac{m}{s}$
