Question

The potential difference between two terminals of an electric heater is 60 V when it draws a current of 4 A from the source.what current will the heater draw if the potential difference is increased to 120 V.In this question i know the answer is 8 A but can we use unitary method in it ,because the answer would be same??

Yes, since I V , therefore unitary method is applicable, but only in this particular case.

However it is advised that you solve the question using the OHM's LAW because there can be different type of question where unitary method might not be applicable but the ohm's law will always be applicable.
