Potential energy is maximum at the extreme position and minimum at the mean position.

At mean position all P.E gets converted to kinetic energy i.e. v=vmax

time to go from extreme position to mean position is t = T4.
Where T is time period of SHM.

So, from question,

5 sec=T4

T=20 sec

So, (d) is the correct answer.
