The correct option is (A) 10 V
According to the question 8 drops are joined to form a big drop

So,

Volume of 8 drops = Volume of big drop
(43πr3)×8=43πR3

After solving
2r=R....(i)

If each small drop has charge q then according to charge conservation
8q=Q....(ii)
We know,
V1r

So we can write
or V1V2=r2n

Or,
20V2=2rr

Therefore
V2=10 V

Potential of the small drop is 10 V
