The power generated in a windmill:
Depends on wind velocity
In a windmill, the wind makes the rotor spin and as the rotor spins, the movement of the blades spinning gives power to a generator which produces electricity. So more the velocity of the wind, more will the blades spin and greater will be the power generated.
Planting of trees reduces the wind speed. The amount of sunlight and wind are not directly related to all situations. For example, during a cyclone, the amount of sunlight is less but the wind speeds are high.
