Solution

The correct option is C NaOH/H2O2
Fe(OH)3 and Cr(OH)3 precipitates are completely seperated by NaOH/H2O2. Chromium hydroxide when dissolved in NaOH/H2O2, gets converted to chromium oxide giving a yellow coloured solution of CrO24. While ferric hydroxide does not changes with NaOH/H2O2. It remains the same as brown precipitate.
Cr(OH)3+OH[Cr(OH)4]
2[Cr(OH)4]+2OH+3H2O22CrO24(yellow coloured solution)+8H2O
Fe(OH)3+NaOH/H2O2no changes
