The present age of a father is 3 years more than three times the age of his son. Three years hence, father's age will be 10 years more than twice the age of his son . Find the present age of the father.

The correct option is A 33
Let the present age of father is x years and son is y years
Then according to the question
x3y=3.............(i)
After 3 years
(x+3)2(y+3)=10
x+32y6=10
x2y=13...........(ii)
Subtracting eq(i)and eq(ii)
y=10
Putting y=10 in eq(i)
x3×10=3
x=33
Hence Father present age is 33 years.
