The present age of a woman is 3 years more than three times the of her daughter.Three years hence,the woman's age will be 10 years more than twice the age of her daughter.Find their present ages.

Let woman = x, daughter= y

x = 3y + 3.....(1)

x + 3 = 2(y + 3) + 10....(2)
Put the value of x from equ (1)
3y + 3 + 3 = 2y + 6 + 10
3y + 6 = 2y + 16
3y - 2y = 16 - 6
y = 10

x = 3y + 3
x =$3\times 10$ + 3
x = 30 + 3
x = 33

The present age of the woman is 33 years old
and daughter 10 years old
