Shyaam - 50

Ratio of ages of Gokul and Shyaam = 1 : 2

If Gokul's age = x

Shyaam's age = 2x

Gokul's age 5 years from now = x + 5

Shyaam's age 5 years from now = 2x + 5

Given that, ratio of ages of Gokul and Shyaam 5 years from now = 6 : 11

$\therefore \frac{x+5}{2x+5}=\frac{6}{11}$

Cross multiply

11 (x + 5) = 6 (2x + 5)

11x + 55 = 12 x + 30

55 - 30 = 12x - 11x

25 = x

Gokul's present age = x = 25 years and Shyaam's present age = 2x = 50 Years
