Given that, $x:y=2:3$

$\therefore x=\frac{2y}{3}$

$\Rightarrow x+12:y+12=11:15$

$\therefore x+12=\frac{11(y+12)}{15}$

Substituting value of $x$, we get

$\frac{2y+36}{3}=\frac{11y+132}{15}$

$\Rightarrow$ Present age of Amit $=y=48$ years
