The present ages of Sunil and Sumedha are in the ratio $2 : 3$ . If after $15$ years, their ages will be in the ratio $3 : 4$ , then find their present ages.

Let present as be $2 x$ and $3 x$ respectively:
According to the question:
$\frac{2 x + 15}{3 x + 15} = \frac{3}{4}$
$\Rightarrow 8 x + 60 = 9 x + 45$
$\Rightarrow x = 15$
So,present again will be $30$ & $45$ years.
