Let the cost of a chair $=Rs.x$

Therefore, cost of a table $=Rs.(x+20)$

According to the question,

$2\times (x+20)+3\times x=340$

$\Rightarrow 2x+40+3x=340$

$\Rightarrow 5x+40=340$

$\Rightarrow 5x=300$

$\Rightarrow x=60$

Therefore, cost of a table $=Rs.(x+20)$

$=Rs.(60+20)$

$=Rs.80$
