Solution

In the 1st years,
p = Rs 56,000
R = 10%
T=1.
SI=P×R×T100
=55000×10×1100
= Rs 5500
p1Rs(550005500)
=Rs 49,500
In the 2nd years
p1 = Rs 49,500
r=15%
T=1.
SI=p1×R×T100
=49,500×15×1100
=7425
p2 RS(49,500-7425)
=Rs.42075
In the 3rd years p2 = Rs 42075
R=20
T=1
s1=p2×R×T100=42075×20×1100=Rs8415.
p3 Rs (42075-8415) Rs.33660
Hence value of the can after 3 years Rs 33660.
