Open in App
Solution

Step 1: Finding the increased price of the table.

Given that price increases from 2,400 to 3,000

Thus increased price = New price - Old price

=3000-2400

=600

Step2. Finding the percentage of increase.

We need to find the percentage of 600 out of 2,400

To convert a fraction into percentage, multiply it by 100

Thus percentage increase=6002400×100

=25%

Hence, the percentage increase in the price of table is 25%.
