Cricket balls are $84$ and Bats are $108$ .
Greatest number = HCF ( $84$ and $108$ )
$84 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3$
$108 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3$
HCF ( $84$ and $108$ ) $= 2 x 2 x 3 = 12$
So, the Greatest number receiving the gifts in this ways is $12$ .
