The probability of A speaks truth is 4/5 and that of B speaks truth is 3/4.then find the probability that they contradict each other when asked to speak on same fact.
Pl explain too

P(A speaks the truth) = 4/5
​​​​P(B speaks the truth) = 3/4
P(A speaks lie) = 1- P(A speaks the truth) = 1- 4/5 = 1/5
P(B speaks lie) = 1 - P(B speaks the truth) = 1 - 3/4 = 1/4
So P(Both contradicts) = P (A speaks truth and B lies) + P(B speaks truth and A lies)
= 4/5*1/4 + 3/4*1/5 (since both are independent events)
= 4/20 + 3/20
= 7/20
