The correct option is A 0.23
Let A be the event that the patient will have his tooth extracted, B the event that he will have a cavity filled.
We have, P(A)=0.06,P(B)=0.2 and P(AB)=0.03
Therefore,
Required probability = P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)=0.06+0.20.03=0.23
