The probability that a person will get an electric contract is 25 and the probability that he will not get plumbing contract is 47. If the probability of getting at least one contract is 23, what is the probability that he will get both?

Let electricity contract be represented by E and plumbing contract be P

So P(E)=25

P(P)=147=37

P(EP)=23

NOW P(EP)=P(E)+P(P)P(EP)

=25+3723

=17105
