The probability that at least one of the events A and B occur is 0.6
i.e PAB=0.6
and probability that A and B occur simultaneously is 0.2
i.e. PAB=0.2Since P(AB)=PA+PB-PABi.e. 0.6=PA+PB-0.2i.e. PA+PB=0.8i.e. 1-PA+1-PB=0.8i.e. PA+PB=2-0.8i.e. PA+PB=1.2
Hence, the correct answer is option C.
