• In order to prevent it from coming in contact with both water and air, a layer of other metal is coated on top of it.
• The process of coating of iron with the metal zinc is called GALVANISATION.
• In this method a layer of zinc can be coated with help of spraying or by dipping iron object in molten zinc.
