Let the terms of the given G.P. be ar, a and ar.
∴ Product = 216
a3=216a=6
It is given that ar+2, a+8 and ar+6 are in A.P.
2a+8=ar+2+ar+6Putting a = 6, we get28 = 6r+2+6r+628r = 6r2+8r+66r2 -20r+6=06r-2r-3 =0r = 13, 3Hence, putting the values of a and r, the required numbers are 18, 6, 2 or 2, 6 and 18.
