Solution

In the C.P graph x-axis represents number of articles and y-axis represents Cost price whereas In S.P graph x-axis represents number of articles and y-axis represents Selling price.
a) For 30 articles,
C.P is 140 and S.P is 120
S.P - C.P = -20 i.e., Loss
b) For 60 articles,
C.P is 230 and S.P is 240
S.P - C.P = 10 i.e., Profit
